About me
Samvit (Sam) Dutta is Senior Director, AI and Data Transformation with RBC Borealis, where he leads AI strategy, including RBC's thinking on Responsible AI, and drives cross-organizational collaboration on innovation in banking.
At RBC, Sam previously led strategy for the Personal Banking Segment and was also a member of the Enterprise Strategy & Transformation team, partnering with senior executives to set the strategic direction of the bank.
Prior to joining RBC, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, serving mid-cap and large-cap clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. He has also held engineering and product management roles across North America and Europe earlier in his career. Sam holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from INSEAD. When not shaping AI strategy, he enjoys all types of motorsports.
