About me
Andres Rojas is an AI and transformation leader at the Vector Institute, where he designs and implements mechanisms to accelerate AI adoption across the Canadian economy, with an emphasis on AI governance and Responsible AI. He has led over 500 applied AI use cases across industry, government, and academia, helping organizations translate emerging capabilities into scalable business impact.
Prior to joining Vector in 2019, Andres was Director of Operational Risk Management for International Banking at Scotiabank, overseeing risk across 30+ countries. He brings over 20 years of experience leading complex transformations in multinational organizations. Andres holds an MBA from the University of Manchester and an Industrial Engineering degree from the Universidad de Chile. He also contributes to global AI governance discussions through the World Economic Forum and sits on McMaster's AI Society Board.
